Hey friends as you can see, many of the brilliant ideas of the CEO from the BP oil company and the president haven't been working out so well. so i would like you all to share your opinion on the matter or give out some ideas that can help stop and potentionally clean up this mess.

The problem that I keep hearing regarding spreading anything on the water to absorb the oil is that the oil spill is hundreds of square miles wide and there is no way they could first of all make that much hay and second, there is no way to collect and store all the soiled hay. But I think if any boater want to go out and collect oil, that BP should be required to pay that boater a huge price for collecting it. BP would then have to figure out what to do with the collected oil that is turned over to them. So if oil is normally $120 a barrel, BP should have to pay the people who collect it double. Basically make it a huge incentive for people to go out there and collect the oil. I'd go if the pay was great. We live in a capitalistic society, so why not feed on that for the health of our gulf and the economy of the people who live in the gulf area.
