Hello All,

Nice to see this website providing information on HIT field.

I have the qualifications, an MBA degree and experience of over twenty years in the IT industry with expertise in Programming, Database Design, Systems Delivery, Project Management. Yes, I do not have any exposure to health care. So, how do I get a break in the HIT field because that is the next frontier. I just want an opening where I take care of IT at the back-end while learning the health care requirements.

It is clear that the HIT field needs experts and the demand is growing. At the same time, the traditional information technology field has slacked off and experts in other industries are being laid off or under-employed. But, there is no clear path to retrain the non-HelathCare IT experts in HIT area. Or, such a training is available and I just haven't discovered it yet?

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
