The iPad is flying off the shelves like T-Rex teeth at a 3 year old boy's birthday party.

What are your early experiences?  What do you like?  How do you see the iPad being put to use in Health Care?

Right now we use laptops that we carry with us to enter patient info which is then connected to our servers. I think the ipad could do the same thing in a more portable or easy to carry interface. I also could see how it could be used to show xrays and maybe possibly ultrasounds which can then be emailed to the patients email for them to send to friends and family.

The iPad is about the size of a piece of an 8.5x 11 piece of paper and the same thickness as a newer iPod touch. It's bigger, and easier to read on, and will run you $500 for the 16gb wifi version and $700 for the 64 gb wifi version. And you can get a version with internet everywhere, but it comes with a monthly plan of $15/month for light users and $25/month for heavy internet users.
