Recently I started my experiment in social media weight loss. So far, I have had 31 Tweets, 4 Facebooks, and 6 blog posts on the blog page.
The overall feedback has been positive and constructive. It has been noted by several people that I need to decrease my original calorie count (2,600 daily) considerably. I also need to take all possible options for increasing my exercise.
With that in mind, I will be decreasing my daily calorie intact to 1,800 and tracking that via an iPad application. I have not come to an exact conclusion on the application I will use, but I am currently leaning towards a couple specific apps. What apps would you recommend?
Thank you all for your continued support and discussion.
Shawn

Here’s the article I was talking about.
I know there was a NYTimes article about the best iPhone apps for weight loss the other day. Only looked at a few, and completely avoided any Android apps. But, I know you don’t have any Androids, so that doesn’t matter. I would say the best app is one that will allow you to collect data quickly (i.e. if you’re counting calories, count them immediately), and then display the information gathered in the way that works best for you.
I know, I know, not the most informed comment, but just what I’ve seen on this topic recently.
