It isn’t often that I link up a Fox News vid, but in this case, this is worth a good laugh. AthenaHealth CEO Jonathan Bush goes on a rant about EMRs and why he believes the governments electronic medical-records technology is a waste of taxpayer money.
I do agree with the thought of “EMRs are way to expensive” etc… BUT… no one said which EMR you need to take. There are many free and low expense systems out there. No need to buy a Cadillac for mud jumping.

















Hom many of the “many free and low expense systems ‘out there’ will meet Meaningful Use requirements? And how much service and support expense will be associated with these ‘free and low expense systems?’
