The title and focus of this year’s summit is: Strategies for Success in Challenging Economic Times. The Minnesota e-Health Summit will take place on June 25th from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park. On June 24 from 1-5pm there is a pre-Summit workshop titled: The Road to Effective Use of EHRs in Minnesota. The Summit agenda includes a keynote address by a senior level staff member from the Office of the National Coordinator, who will provide an update on opportunities available in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, as well as morning plenary sessions providing an overview of e-health implementation efforts in Minnesota. Afternoon breakout sessions provide an opportunity to gather important lessons-learned from Minnesota colleagues working toward implementation and effective use of EHRs and other health information technology.
The Pre-Summit workshop will feature examples of how to maximize your EHR investment in order to achieve the best value and outcomes. Exhibitors representing product and service vendors, system integrators as well as professional service providers will allow participants to explore products and services available to them.
