The folks on Twitter last night were getting pretty excited on the #healthcomm discussions. Several people asked for case studies of the benefits of Electronic Medical Records. This is what I found with 15 minutes of searching. I KNOW I have some more of these, but it will take a couple of days to digg them up. Let’s start here and PLEASE comment with any other studies if you have them.
Here you go:
Community Partners HealthNet, Inc. is a network of seven community health centers that operates 43 medical and dental clinics, with a total of 105 doctors serving approximately 150,000 patients. The North Carolina-based network provides comprehensive medical and dental care to uninsured and underinsured patients, and is funded under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.
